About us
MD (Nederland) is a charity founded March 2019 as MD was diagnosed in one of our families. We are amazed by the promise of medical research and number of people it may help. On the other hand, we also see the consequences of being an unknown disease, incl. having too much to research to do with too little funding, and care being provided too little too late.Our Mission

We are founded in cooperation with Prinses Beatrix Spierfonds, a large Dutch charity focussed on funding research for muscle related disorders (website in Dutch).
